Which Subs to choose for my SICK ride??
Blackedout replied to Slavko's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
You got plenty enough room for a single 12 in a ported box. Where you're going to get the sub, materials, amp, and wiring for under $250 I have no idea. But I'd shoot for a single 12 off about 1000 rms. EDIT: Type R 12 would fit your budget and perform very well for the price. -
100% copper wire make a difference?
Blackedout replied to Stee-Z's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
You get what you pay for. OFC is definitely better. If you need 4 gauge worth of copper wire, 1/0 CCA will work great for your system. If you need 1/0 OFC, 1/0 CCA isn't the same. Trystar welding cable is where it's at. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-WELDING-CABLE-50ft-coil-MADE-USA-/290556509916?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a6847edc -
need to be louder than my last setup
Blackedout replied to curtdakota's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Why would a 21 have anything to do with lows? It is a stigma people have with bigger woofers, they assume the bigger the woofer, the louder lower notes get. While typically true it is for a completely different reason. Which is partially caused by mechanical advantage/disadvantage. Just enjoy bass! Lower Frequency Response does play a little bit of a factor in the lows. A woofer with a FS of 30 hertz will play the tone better/ more efficiently than a woofer with a FS of 45 hertz. True, but this is blown way out of proportion... and people will forever think that an 18 can't keep up with a triple bass pedal. That's the real stigma people have. If anything, it's exactly opposite. Proper enclosure, proper power, and an amp that can actually keep up with double bass pedal I'd put my money on an 18 playing rock music better than a 10 any day. -
3 in each door: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-422 1 or 2 in each door http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-350 No point in trying to bring tweeters down to a low ohm load. They are efficient, and therefore don't need much power.

Hater. Crunk Juice... If you're allowed to use a calculator shits simple. Enter in any fraction into your calculator 1/4 = 1 divided by 4 =.25 x 100=25% Figuring out percentages is life. Fuck a fraction... put it into numbers. Almost everything is a percentage of 1 or 100 All else fails, common denominators like hdorre said. <= That was definitely 4th/ 5th grade math. -
I'm just sayin... A cutout would be pretty pimp. Best of both worlds. You're sittin in a luxury car, a 1" drop is mild so you can still obtain a decent ride..... but to have the ability to not listen to the constant groan of your loud(er) exhaust would be nice too. If you can find the room for true duals, I'm sure you can find the room for a cutout/ resonator/ turn down - whatever your option is. Porsche had a similar feature in some of their models.

56 ftw LOL Worst lyrics ever.... E40 got it lookin like a Soulja boy song. http://videolyric.com/music-clips/e-40-my-shit-bang-lyrics-and-video-clip.html Big pimpin, can you take all the bullshit out of this song? If so, like a third of all this: Turn my music up Turn my music up T-t-turn my music up Turn my music up T-t-turn my music up Turn my music up Turn my music up Bang, My Shit Bang Bang My Shit Bang Nigga My Shit Bang Bang My Shit Bang B-Bang My Shit Bang Bang My Shit Bang Bang My Shit Bang Nigga My Shit Bang Bang My Shit Bang B-Bang My Shit Bang Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang! And possibly a slowed version for the people who hit the lows? I dunno what kinda tracks you edit... but it would make a good demo song for my car at the frequencies its hittin now... if it didn't have all the repetition in it. (:45 seconds - 3:30) And the beat would be sick slowed too...

Fuck the taste... They are good times. Grab a bunch of friends and a case and you'll be sure to have shit to talk about the next day.

What features of the alarm have you used? Have you hooked up remote start or not? Error tones coming from the key fob or the siren? When do the error codes occur and with what function button? The doors don't need to be isolated. The alarm can be linked to the relay trigger on the driver/ passenger/ rear doors.... Doing so only unlocks all doors with 1 click of the unlock button instead of 2 clicks like a factory remote.
