make sure the ground was on there really good, mine was doing that and had to tighten the ground good(talking about the dd-1 prongs)

your car must have low idle, when you turn AC on the engine idles a bit more so it turns your alt on. it happens with any brand H/O alts you need to check your idle speed

for a 5000 watt amp you will need 2500 watt subs, trust me it will be really loud good, subs at that rating are AA mayhems FI btl and some DC subs
