I just picked up an mtx 8500 10" woofer, looking to sell or trade. It had what looked like some goo on the cone so I tried to wet sand the what I thought was aluminum and found out it wasnt aluminum. So its only costmetic. Would make great sub to invert if you're worried about the cone, it looks beeefy. I'm asking 125+ Shipping and paypal fees. Looking for a nice 4 channel amp (maybe plus cash since this wont be cheap to ship) EDIT: This is the 4 ohm model

Depending on the laptop you could reseat the drive by removing a screw on the bottom and pulling the drive out. Boot up the computer, shut down the computer, reinstall drive, start computer back up. Alot of times that wont work and it winds up being a registry error, and that is not something I could tell you how to do with the amount of information I have. Also you could check device manager and see if any of the icons have an explanation point on them. Good luck

Well first off I'll say I was robbed 6 months ago and ever since then I hated leaving home thinking about all my shit. Just curious... I have two dual 1 ohm subs... if I were to buy one of these amps how well would it run at 2 ohm bridged? Or what other wiring options would be ok with the dual 1 ohm subs? Thanks

Is it a daily driver?

Not worried about the alt in this scenario, more worried about other electronics. Seen a video of a gmc stock 105 amp alt and said it had 100,000 miles on it with the vcm and d1400 batteries. I of course want an HO alt to go with the vcm, but no point in buying a vcm alt and 14v batteries if its going to render my car useless two weeks down the road. I just like the idea of a higher voltage system in my car if I'm going to upgrade, if it can be done safely. edit: btw boilermaker...what part of ohio? I just moved to akron

Looking into getting d1400's with a vcm module. I'm just curious if my 2000 pontiac sunfires stock electrical could handle charging at 16 volts without frying the BCM, Instrument cluster, sensors, etc. Any reports of frying of such things?

probably a registry error....do some googling on disk drives pertaining to your specific computer and registry...dont change anything unless you're 100% comfortable lol
