  1. I have 4 10" PR's and love them. They get loud in the right box and don't need much power. I was giving the 4 of them a true 1400 watts (100 over rated) and never had any issues but I would be careful giving them much more than that. When I had them in my Mitsubishi Mighty max they were sealed and down-firing in just under 5^3 and did a 147 sealed on the dash.
  2. At my old house we didn't lock the door often and I had the ups and fed-ex guys put stuff inside the door all the time. I had cameras up so I know that's all they were doing. At the new house, even though we are in the same town and you don't have to worry about locking stuff, we lock the doors but leave the porch door unlocked and they just throw the stuff in there.
  3. OMG you know how to jump start a car. Amazing!!! Btw, you owe me six minutes of my life back
  4. You need to pull it out of the box. You can tell by the way it is ripped that whatever punctured it did it from the inside.
  5. We need pics of her to decide if she is worth hiring. Crazy in the head, crazy in bed...
  6. If it's a complete bolt in setup I would guess arund $800-1000 at a shop. I charge $500-750 out of my garage for a complete bolt in setup installation.
  7. Just to give you and idea of the value, They sell or at least sold those subs at the swap meet in Phoenix for $10 each new
  8. Unless the pics are playing tricks on my eyes you'll have to roll your fenders if you lower it due to the offset of your wheels. With that car and wheel combo I wouldn't do it. Even if you roll your fenders you'll probably rub when you hit a bump.
  9. It's 2 sets of components that are 4 ohm @ the x-over so the amp is seeing 4 ohms per channel.
  10. Nope amp is 2ohm stable and speakers are all 4 ohm. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the amp isn't getting hot, barely warmer than ambient temperature even after playing for a little while at the max it will without cutting out.
  11. Nope checked them all and everything was good. Even pulled my h/u and eq to make sure the rca's were all connected good.
  12. Not sure what's going on but my Scosche EFX 4300HD keeps cutting out at high volume when the bass hits in my car. I've checked all my wiring and made sure I have good grounds, etc. Electrical seems to keep up just fine (only drops to 13.6 at full tilt) and nothing else shuts off. I watched it last night and it's not going into protect, it just shuts off when the bass hits then it pops back on. I thought maybe the amp was going bad so I swapped it with one of the 4 ch from my truck and put this one in the truck and it works fine in there and the other one works fine in the car. Gains were set with a DMM and then turned down a hair just to be safe. I would just keep the amps swapped but the one from my truck won't fit in the space available in the car. Any ideas on what else to check would be great.
  13. With $500 to spend I would get a DC lvl 3 12 (you'll have to check on the price, I'm going off the last price I had) and build a box (~$50). Then for the amp, if you need wiring you can go with this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_29851_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ1200.1D-Amplifier-Kit.html or if you don't then go with this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23547_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ1700.1D.html There are tons of options you can go with and I'm sure someone around here can probably point you towards some better deals too.
  14. This teacher I'm dealing with now is a nutcase! She admits she is a former alcoholic and drug addict and she tries to push all her bs she learned from getting help on us. I spend most of my class time browsing this site yet I've got a perfect score. I don't think she even looks at the homework, just gives grades.
  15. Im sitting in my psych class right now bored out of my mind because I can't follow the lunatic of a teacher I have. Just wondering, anyone else here that goes to school have a class or teacher that just makes you not want to show up for class? Thankfully this is a summer course so only 8 weeks and I'm almost half way through. What is the point of making an accounting major take this class anyway?
  16. If its a model 91/30 that price isn't bad as long as its the hex receiver. If its the round receiver that price is about $40 too high. If its a M44 model the price is about $20 too much. Those prices are assuming its a grade of excellent which it sounds like it is. If it happens to be a Finnish model I want to know where it is at that price because I will buy them all.
