Trippi 1st look with 6 t3audio tsns 18s at sbn 2011

Now I'm no expert on numbers, but usually having all smooth interior panels and no flex helps get higher numbers, right? well the panels inside of the hummer are quite curvy and I'm sure all of those speakers are flexing from the pressure. That's probably the big part killing the numbers for this ride. IDK, just a guess.

I don't care if this thing metered a 147, it is still a bad ass ride with an insane amount of craftsmanship put into it and every little spot in it looks amazing. I just hope to one day hear it in it's prime.

this truck is all for the shock value of it. Saying it's designed as a ground pounder is a way to make excuses for not hitting numbers.

You have 30,000 plus watts, multiple custom Alternators, massive battery banks, 6 18s and a small cabin and you hit 153. FOR SHAME

You could hit 153 with 2 of those 18s and half the power and Still have a very listenable level of SQ

any one of us who has a car that's not designed as a strict SPL machine burp box or a strict SQ car is a ground pounder. We all want big level bass to suite our personal taste. If i had that much money wrapped up in that thing and it shat out a 153 i'd burn it to the ground.

I recently met a guy here in Rockville MD with an H2. with 2 DD 9515s no wall tuned to 33hz with massive port and 4 RF 2500BD-CPs he's doing consistant 155s at 30hz and it sound clean as hell.

Meaning less is more in most cases and as I've always thought and said. this truck is purely for shock value

He has all that but he's missing a very important thing....WIRE. I'm running 1/3 the amour of power he is and I'm running 3x the amount of wire he is. SuperJay said it earlier, he's trying to get all that current to run through 1 tiny little straw that can't do it all.

I don't remember all the details on the Alt setup, but let's just go on the small side and say 3 300a alts, that's 900amps of current tryingto slow through 1 wire that's most likely rated at 300amps. That's just not gonna work very effectively and that wire might not have too long of a life.

The truck is amazing. It's been amazing from the start, when Ed built it, then the rebuild was amazing, and it's still amazing with the T3s. They just need to get that trucks "blood" (current) flowing a little better.

u just proved my point

how people think u need high numbers to be a gp

steve dose a 157 and ever think he a gp with 4 18 and 8 2500cp but yet the hummer has 6 18 and 12 2500 and people want more out of it

i bet if steve did the same thing it would be fucking bad ass with people y not with the hummer.....

i just used steve as a exp bc he runs most of the same subs and amps as trippi

so it bull shit

steve is behind the rear seat with less power and cone area and the hummer has a wall with 2 more subs and 4 more amps and the numbers are very similar....so in this instance the NUMBERS arent as impressive but the overall install/vehicle is impressive....

That's a very good point. That's what was stated earlier, but who knows what really in there.

I just went off the statement made earlier/yesterday.

they didn't have time to fix it...the shop that did it, evidently, didn't know what the hell they were doing when in comes to power management.
