I have no idea why GM didn't give them disc brakes all around though...ever considered upgrading them because of the 26s and system weight? bmph8er Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 my 01 has discs and they been fine the 2 years i owned it. who ever knows what gm does. i work at a gm dealership now and ive been here 10 years and i still cant figure them dumbazzs out 2001 gmc seirra 5.3 auto 3.73 locked rear, long tube headers, offroad y pipe, duals, cai, black bear tune, 2/4 drop, 22s, rockford fosgate mods and highs and 4 ab hd 15s and a ab 750.1 1995 civic 1.5 auto slower then hell, dropped on coil overs, ex hub caps, 2 12 trunk, have 450 bucks in the car and gets 35 mpg 1992 s10 being bagged, shaved, and small stereo. right now a pile of parts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Still though, that's a fine setup. ya i hate drums. i was looking into big brake kits but the way my rims have the deep dish them they turn back into the truck there is no room. I cant even get anyone to make dust covers for them.. i like the way they fit the truck though..
