All good amps do. But its not a ton. You cant expect 700 watts out of a 500 watt amp.

I...don't...understand....how...posts...continue to be placed in the incorrect spot. This hardly seems off topic, albeit kind of a waste, but definitely an "amplifiers" topic.

People who get carried away with birth sheets make me LOL and might want to do a little more research. Not hating, just stating.

The amps can do more than rated with good electrical, and I have clamped more than "a little" out of the AQ3500.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Feel free. I used to say it a lot, but can't remember where I picked it up from.

Um...i actually clamped my AQ2200 today. BUT...I do not have great electrical...actually, its all stock. Stock electrical under the hood, and simply 0gauge CCA from the battery to the amp. I currently have it wired at 2ohms. It clamped at 1246watts...so if you figure 2200watts at 1ohm, which should mean 1100watts at 2ohms, and I got 1246watts from stock electrical...not bad.
