I'd consider Michael Hughes (spl2k), Boon, and Ray to be some experts on this site... spl2k had the loudest vehicle on the planet more than once I believe, boon is an electronics and building wizard, and Ray has torn apart and put together every car imaginable and done some huge crazy installs.
