pervitizm
So I went to the shop yesterday to finally get my wheels put on the suburban 26x9.5Dip Libra 15 on Lexani LX9100 tires. Well the tires are 305/30/26 and they rub up in the front really bad. The shop recommend that I go to a smaller tire or that my shocks and springs may need to be adjusted or change. They said that this was the first time that they couldn't get this setup on my style of truck with the 305 tires. The truck has around 94K miles on it and I've never changed the shocks or struts on it, should I go that route or should I go with smaller tires like a 275? I kinda don't want to go the smaller tire route cause the roads here are really bad and I don't want to fuck up the wheels when going over a shitty pot hole? I don't want to do any cutting at all if I don't absolutely have to. I was thinking of taking a heat gun to the inner fender covers and seeing if I can reform them. BeatBox
sometimes all u need to cut is the inner liners on both sides, maybe the inner corner of the front bumpers, usually not really noticeable got any pics? if you dont want to cut then try to get smaller tires=shtty roads= alittle trimming=nice tire size= you->
Sir-Lancelot
crank on your torsion bars a little bit or add ford/similar keys to lift up the front. Shouldnt be too hard to get little lift. pervitizm
I forgot what the offset was on the wheels I'll find out tomorrow when I call the shop. So you guys think just an adjustment on the torsion bars will do the trick? meade916
i have 295/25/26 on mine.......for you i would probably suggest a 295/30/26. I dont know that i would do a 305 on a 9.5", 26. Seems kinda wide for a that rim IMO. I would also suggest you use Pirelli P-Zero like mine. You will love them! good luck!
