THEKINGsBACK Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Aq is a good amp for them.... i got a homeboy with on here with the 13.5 JLs on a orion 2500D and they Slam.... absolutely slam... and his voltage isnt that great ... Vitveet.. he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Vitveet.. thanks. well i wouldve got the AQ but i read a lot of good stuff about the crescendo and also that it was pretty much comparable to other amps like i think sundown and dc and im not sure if the aq also so i figured why pay more for those when i could get the crescendo for less

08tahoe Posted June 1, 2011 Author Report Posted June 1, 2011 I'm with james on this one, if not jl atleast get a better amp than the JL is well that was the plan from the start. i wanted everything jl.. but now im tired of spending so much money on jl. i got my w7s and was planning on getting an hd1200/1 for each or if not a 1000/1v2 for each but now i wish i hadnt bought the w7s, and should of bought something else. but since i already bought them and they are just sitting in my room and i know i wont get close to what i paid for them, i figured i would just buy a cheaper price amp that will still push em so i can put them to use. so after i get my amp i just gotta try and build a box for the 7s. which i hope is not to hard cause ive never built a box before.

I'm still not set on an amplifier since I decided to upgrade electrical so I can be good and golden for anything in the future.. Or at least have clean power for whatever I do choose.. I'm a firm believer in not get just enough to get by but getting by with more.. Any other companies you have in mind that I may look into as well as the OP???
