Superjay
No..on the dr trigger... Read again...what makes the circuit funky? How and when it opperates.. And your muffstain does the same thing are you referring to the circuit that slams the entire electrical system shut after a certain period and you have to wake it up to make any kind of alarm work? Superjay
What is the material used in a transistor that lets it do its job.. Hint... Cali city What are the 2 ways for a transistor to "layered"? there's a cali city named germanium? lol (yes, some diodes use germanium as a substrate) Principal JTech Consulting - Leader in 12-Volt Training and Product PlanningIt's not about how much power you have, but how well you use it
n8ball2013
How can you use a dmm to check for a tach signal? What should the signal be? Does it vary? And when/why? Set your DMM to AC current and find the odd colored wire on an injector or find the tach wire. I can not remember what it should be at this point though. It will vary as the RPM's increase though. I havent done that in a long time. Ray
nice job jay.. but.. pin 2 for databus, purple wire pin 1 if its LAN, green wire (11 bit and 29 bit) of course it's 8mm.. I should have made i clear I was talking about bi polar trans. not just a diode..(good catch) and 04-08 ferds dont fall asleep anymore. they rest at (-) and go to open .... fun..haha and n8, its ac volts. on 2 pin injector or C.O.P this is almost always the "odd" color wire. Not the common found on every injector. ............................................... What tool is needed to test the voltage drop in a circuit? kirill007
What tool is needed to test the voltage drop in a circuit? How is the test performed? What kind of voltage drop do you mean? The kind of voltage drop thru the wires and equipment itself or voltage drop like in :" using the circuit and then voltage drops because it's pulling amperage?" But a DMM is the answer to the first one. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
IH8PunkRok
using a dmm you check for voltage drop across the load or in more technical terms in parallel with the load oops forgot a piece. the dmm should be set to ohms. so itll get a reading of the input voltage vs output voltage and cause an ohm load. smaller is usually better. the actual voltage loss can be calculated -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

Ray
you can do resistance then calc for how much voltage was lost... or. you can do it the easy way................................. 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
