Pulled in after an 8.5hr drive on nothing but my battery bank and did a 150.6 lol I'm sure I can do better with actual testing for Meca.

thorshammer
I really think I can do alot better. Been doing lots of research and studying hard lol Looks like peak frequency goes up when you open the doors lol This is fun! I've always done drag style metering event i.e. NSPL,TNESL,DbDrag so this whole doors open, headrest, kick metering style is brand spanking new! lol I dont care for the fusing. I can understand why it is in place but from a judgeing stand point creates more headache than its worth. I can see where people could fabricate or have made blocks with cheater bars on it. With battery limits you can only pull so many amps limiting the amount of power that can be generated. It'll take some getting used to lol
kr15
to me, Meca is where its at..I do appreciate Dales enthusiasm for the hobby, and I appreciate your enthusiasm as well, you guys make our hobby better, that said, Meca really seems to be gaining traction here in California. If you make the San JO show, or when you go to bakersfield, I think you will see a different type of event. I admit, it is less intense then the bracketing that DbDrag provides, but you will certainly see a different type of build. All but maybe 2 or 3 cars at a meca show will be ground pounder type builds. You will also probley see more competitive classes. It is rare for a meca class to be won by more then say 2db..In the Street A-C classes, you see some guys getting crushed by the CRX guys (no disrespect to their builds) by maybe 8-10db..Meca shows also seem to have more cars as well...Im glad that your enthusiasm has carried you over to Meca as well, and I know it will also serve the DRag community well also Team Flex Issues Low tuning > God 2011 CALI AS1 STATE CHAMP
