08tahoe
i heard that if you have a system in your car it was not good to give another car a jump start. so im wondering if it is true or not. does anyone know?
KillaCam
Ive been wondering this too, if you have upgraded electrical (high output alt, batts, big3) it doesn't seem like it would be good for the other persons car. Quote And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. Supercharged DCs
Hell no, whoever told you that is a retard. I've jumpstarted my friends trucks multiple times, and have had mine jump started several times as we by friends with systems. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
AMI CUSTOMS
Actually better if you have a system with upgraded electrical, your upgraded electrical can jump the other vehicle faster and better. MrSkippyJ
I never had a need for upgraded electrical (yet!) but I have jump started many cars while having a system. I always take my fuse out though, just in case! AMI CUSTOMS
I would love for someone to explain how it could do damage. Not going to hurt your amp by jumping a car unless you are a noob and don't know how to hook up jumper cables. Slawsen
as long as you have fuses and dont put jumper cables on incorrectly (or run 16v electrical), you could be good Edited May 26, 2011 by Slawsen Quote 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.
