Team Nemesis-DJ Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 There is more to it that's just from what u know. But i don't get why ur putting it on blast but I'm sure not going to I know the situation well ...i was handling the calls from the people that bought equipment and alot more things that is not needed to be on a public forum ....but back on topic ...
audio1der Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Exactly what repercussions are there for you if you don't comply with the "contract" and go to shows, etc? What are they gonna do- drive across the country and cry at you?? Are they really going to sue you? Can you pay to get them fixed locally and call it a day?? Maybe mail them a cheque for the difference between MSRP and what you paid along with a ripped up copy of the contract, and tell them to take a flying leap. Sorry to hear about the situation. It's not like it was too good to be true- you should expect everything you've mentioned. Good luck! tuckintaco93 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 why not just go thru audiopipe and not the sponser side say you have some amps you bought that were bad
Team_DC-Derrick Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 why not just go thru audiopipe and not the sponser side say you have some amps you bought that were bad because the sponsor and audiopipe are the same people? hes got a sponsorship THROUGH audiopipe, not some shop, or anything else... The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... I just realized Steve has reach Voldemort status, over on JP's site he is the one who will not be named....."We dont speak his name over here, fearing it will destroy us" LOL not even in hush tones
loganberry Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 At the point im not sure what im going to do, there not holding up there end of the sponsorship so i cant see how they would expect me to hold up mine...the audiopipe stickers are off my truck but the 2 original 3ks i had before the sponsorship because those are the only amps i have and i have a show tommorro, my plan is to find someone to take a look at the amps tell me whats wrong with them and let me know how much its gonna be to fix them, then sell everything audiopipe i have and hopefully break even if im lucky....i was really excited to have gotten a sponsorship even if audiopipe isnt that good...and im really upset that all this happened, like i said...if they would have said look were very sorry we will pay shipping to you..but you have to pay shipping to us i would have done that no problem, but i dont see it right that i have to pay for shipping there, and back...and now pay for the amps to be tested to make sure they work before there sent out? Give me a break My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
doug118 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 I like my cheap-o audiopipe amp. Logan backing up AP and saying he runs his at .5 ohm is what made me decide to try them out. I'm thinking about buying a second one on monday. That would be $260 for 2 amps that will put out ~2400-3000 watts. Not a bad deal if you ask me 2001 Tahoe. Huge front stage and 55+ substage http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196418-another-tahoe-build-huge-front-stage-and-155-substage/
loganberry Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 The reason i decided to pursue a sponsorship is because all the shit i did with my original 3ks and how i never had a single problem with them...i just assumed it was gonna go smoothly like anyone would, you pay for new products, you get new working products...no thats not the case at all...oh well Anyone wanna buy 2 bnib 300.2's? Haha i know i know this isnt a fs thread, but for real if you want them pm me....i got a couple numbers friends have given me about repair centers to get the amps fixed...i wish i knew what to look for when i opened them up so i had an idea what was wrong but thats not the case....oh well My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
ALPINE408 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 @ alpine Logan got fucked and its not fair he pays for amps and shipping and then when he gets them they don't work, and then they want shipping there and back again seriously? Also I'm more then sure you have never gotten blown amps at ur door odds are you would feel the way Logan is i sure have i got a cersendo 1000.4 with a broken componet leg not working guess what i paid shipping and got a new amp back Have you ever had your woofers blown?
