Sammitch0
No offense I'm looking for something bigger than a BL I had a chance to buy one when I was getting my current 18" and I didn't like the price/performance no offense the fact that it does stock 1000RMS and not much more is a total turn off at the price they charge. And I'm trying to lean away from used unless I get a killer deal. Supercharged DCs
Get two SA-15s B Stock from Jacob, $165 each I believe. Will take 1600w nicely, can put more power later on. I believe Jacob has a jeep and gets nice numbers with it. Sundown and Jeeps just mix. Quote Bassless once again. This vid is of one of my friends from a while back. Dude ran 2 BL 18's on a JBL 6000gti(which is a BEAST of an amp lol). Each sub was seeing well over 3k each. Alex K
You'd be completely contradicting yourself by getting 2 15"s. You said an 18 is too much, but yet you want to go with MORE cone area and a box of equal or even larger than the first one.? Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. Sammitch0
Maybe I didn't explain myself I seem to have to do that a lot more here... I want a DAILY driver not a burper and I could give a shit about numbers lol. an 18" is TOO much because I want to ADD another and it won't fit, two 15's should theoretically be louder. and I don't want 8's way too small for my tastes I know they are BEASTS but im all set smallest I'd go is 12's and thats PUSHING it everyone around here has 12's and I dont want to be like that thats why I got an 18" in the first place. and no a BL stock WILL NOT take 3kw DAILY thats pure bullshit. kirill007
stock BL maybe wont. But a fully loaded BL will. You underestimate the BL. It will take 3kw, maybe not clamped but it will take a 3kw amp. Edited June 6, 2011 by kirill007 Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for. Sammitch0
So I got: DC 15" Level 3's NEW (2) $400 Sundown Audio SA-12's NEW (2) $400 Fi Audio BL Stock 18 USED (1)$300 Fi Audio SSD Stock 15's NEW (2) $400 I'm hoping to run ABOUT 2kw of clean power to whatever I run I'll probably be using a 1200Bxi at first then later on an AQ2200 or Rockford T1500bdat around 14v. I'm open to ANY suggestions but I'm really leaning towards the DC's as I know they're severely under-rated at 600 and I might be able to strike a deal in getting Level 4 parts on them. I also know the SA's are the SAME but better but I can only afford 12's I REALLY want 2 15's or 1 18 preferable 2 15's. I've ran a single stock SSD 15 before and it was loud as hell I just dont know... kirill007
You do know that you won't hear a difference between the AQ2200 and the RF 1500bd? Because you won't hear it. 727Designs
I'm running the same amp with close to the same voltage to a single SA15D2 in 3.25 net at 35hz and it gets pretty damn loud. I'd say 2 of the B-stock ones Jacob is selling now would be crazy loud on it.
