1sickpuppy
I was looking on their web site and could not verify if their amps are CEA 2006 certified or not? All I have heard about AQ amps are good things; that they are actually under-rated to what is given in the online specs. I'm specifically asking about the AQ4X90. Thanks in advance. korey_hofer
cea is basically a gimmick to sell stuff, it really doesn't mean much more than it does rated at 14.4v aq's do rated power and then some don't be afraid to use them Quote previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. UnderLoK
Ignore CEA, just buy a quality product (AQ being one). Most of the amps you see people running around here would be a good buy, just don't use me as an example and stay the hell away from Soundstream... UnderLoK
Ignore cea? Wow.. I knew if I came into this thread I would find dumb comments. Does the CEA cert have a different meaning than it used to (pre-06)? That's a serious question The last time I cared about CEA is when ADS, MMATS, and the like weren't. I had assumed CEA was still not only a gaurenteed output in situations which are not real world, but also carried with it a limit or has that long since changed? EDIT: Reworded, I sounded like a 2 yr old Edited June 12, 2011 by UnderLoK Quote If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARSCheck out my walled TBSS build over here4 Fi Team 18s on 2 Cactus K9 DS18 doors on 2 MBQ 1Ks, Vifa pillars on a STL4.500 Pioneer X8500 6 XS Power D7500, 1 3400S Second Skin 2 270a Mechman Alts
