What do you do for work?

Recommended Posts

I am a Lead Inventory Control Analyst for jetBlue airways.

Got a sweet gig back in '07 and started out driving a 26' Box Truck for them, worked my way through that to Materials Inspection, and am now where I am.

I did 2-1/2 years towards a degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in C++ programming; didn't finish because at the time I was more concerned about partying than I was studying and ended up losing my academic scholarship.

But, I plan to complete my degree in the same field or Electrical Engineering. Get to start back up once the wife finishes Grad School in another year.

I do general construction from digging holes to wiring houses. Work is damn slow and I'm barely making it day to day financially.

In the mean time I will do anything for money as long as the physical and mental stress stay low.

My buddy that just bought the local car audio shop, I think he wants me to work for him but I just don't know if its worth it to me.

Damn I listen to a guy that bought a brand new set of components and he blew them already. Well the guy is complaining that its not his fault and wanting to argue.

If a set of components work when you left the shop than it is user error.

I just don't know if I want to but up with that shit any more. People crying because they don't know what they are doing!

Fuck the consumer!

I kinda want to go back to work, but for no less than $600 a week.

my sister has this attitude, she is 28, and hasnt ever had a job. just leaches off people and has racked up more debt than she'll ever be able to pay off. sometime you need to swallow your pride and get what you can get.

Stock, cashier, bagging, janitor, buggy patrol (lol) whatever the store I work at needs me to do. Hate the fucking job because I make about 12hrs a week minimum wage, which means I have to save up for months to afford audioZ.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
