Done. The clearance behind the EQ area is tighter than a nuns ass. Stock wiring harness is loomed and snap clipped to the dash support right behind the pod, so I ended up squeezing it in there within about 1/16th of an inch.

Very nice, glad I was the inspiration for this but one thing I will say sucks about placement is when you have a big gulp it blocks some of the knobs and I loves me a big gulp...bitches love big gulps too :lol2:.

Haha I noticed that when my volt meter was there, could never see the shit dipping into the 12's when I had a drink there, BUT.... I won't be using the drivers side cupholder that much now. I relocated my 12v accessory to the cubby next to the e-brake, so I can use the passenger side cupholder now that the cell phone charger is outta the way

Nice work man! that turned out really clean!

Thanks Scooter!!

Looks good but just a suggestion, use less mat and try to apply it more evenly, it looks pretty bumpy and it looks like you have a shitton of mat on there haha. atleast its super strong

Lol there's 3 layers of mat on there and it is strong as a mofo! The only reason I used so much mat was because I didn't have any fleece to wrap it in, and I used the excess mat the way people normally use fleece, just stretched it over the gaps and slapped on some resin. And I would have smoothed it out more last night, but by the time I got home from class and started cutting out the opening for the EQ, it was like 1am when I started sanding and the neighbors weren't too happy about it lol

I don't care if mine hate me or not lol. I think of it as payback for letting their kids go barreling up and down the stairs all day long haha

Fiberglass work looks nice and clean.

Thanks sir :good:

Thanks man! If you do take the plunge and decide to try it out, just do something small to get a feel for it, like a tweeter pod or something like that.
