TRTC360 Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 So my question is, does adding extra batteries to a system help prevent voltage drop? or is that all about getting a HO alternator or a multiple alternator setup? Ive had a few people tell me that all extra batteries (regular 12v) do is give you more playtime with the car off. And other people have told me otherwise. Socky Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 The extra batteries will help your voltage, because it will give you a great reserve capacity which that is what you want in car audio. But if you play the system full tilt for long periods of time, you will need to look into a larger alternator, since the batteries will need charged. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Don't play your system with the.car off he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
