Will the copper coils handle 2200RMS daily on music or would it just be wiser to go with the aluminum coils? Aluminum coils give you better power handling, copper gives you better SQ(who needs SQ at 2000+rms), as long as you pay attention you shouldn't have any problem running 2200 amp power to the copper coils(since due to various factors that 2200rms wont be sent to the sub very often) Edit: This is from exp. running a 10" HDC3 on an AQ2200. And you can still compete it just depends how serious you are. Go look at the "tech support" on their site dude and it explains the difference well. It also says that for %90 of the installs copper is the way to go. Quote so far...
