18abVFL
Havent bought it yet, but within the next 2 months. 2001 Toyota Celica GT 164,XXX miles on body 80,XXX miles on motor Used to be owned by this alcoholic slut that me and all of my friends ran through. She didnt take car of it at all. She blew the engine, put cigs out on dash, broke gear shifter, snapped spoiler, ect. My buddy bought it off of her for $500, and swapped in a newer motor for like $1800. It's fully tinted with 5%-15% with black tail lights. My buddy has put ALOT of work into this car already, but alot of shit still has to be done. I'm still getting a lip kit, Halo/LED strip headlights, carbon fiber hood and most of my panels repainted. Scratches everywhere! I'm also might get a carbon fiber hatch. I'm thinking about taking the spoiler off before I install my 18" AQ. What do you think and what else should I do? Buying spools of 1/0 tomorrow and maybe a batt or alt. And by "technically" you mean the title has your name on it? Otherwise technically it isn't yours and that means you've risked wasting $700 on a car that isn't yours. What I'm trying to say is... GET THE CAR FIRST! and then I'd like to see the build. spl4life
If you wnt my oppinion... yes first get your name on the title... then dont rice it out like ive seen the majority do... KIS (keep it simple/stock) if the paint is still good... keep it... fix the engine first before putting audio in there.. u want your car running smoothly before doing anything like that... ill hv to agree that this car isnt fast but hey.. if your into car audio... u cant expect ur car to be fast... edit: spelling Edited July 12, 2011 by spl4life Quote My first truck... BeatBox
dont rice it out like ive seen the majority do... KIS (keep it simple/stock) this, keep it stock looking none of that eBay special sht lol not a fan of celica's myself, but if it looks stock it looks better than after u add a bunch of random parts to it some 17s would be the biggest id go on the wheels, maybe some HIDs and def remove the spoiler Edited July 12, 2011 by BeatBox
