Skullz
Been a while but you'll want to use a class A/B bridged for power, a well damped and built enclosure for the sub which can make any sub sound good but will sound amazing with the better sub. EDIT: What makes a good enclosure is one that eliminates unwanted noise created by the enclosure so you only hear the sound the sub is making. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

I was planning on a Rockford Fosgate T1500.1-bdCP. Are they not good? Also, I was planning on a ported box tuned low... Is that good for SQ on rock / rap music? JeremyN
if you want SQ class a/b and sealed box are the way to go 2 12" Jeff Vue Customs 1 set MB Quart FSB 216 in doors1 American Bass 100.1 on sub1 Hertz EP2 on doorsJVC deck IPOD controlStock 105 amp alt DD-1big 3new build in Chevy caviler http://www.stevemead...chevy-cavalier/last set up in the ZX2 http://www.stevemead...-current-build/old build log http://www.stevemead...-1998-ford-zx2/ Gold is the money of kings, silver is the money of gentlemen, debt is the money of slaves. 18abVFL
if you ask my opinion, i say subs dont matter for SQ. Its all about the install and what the box is tuned to. I've heard sony xplods in a good box that sound better than my boys jl w6. 1999 Monte Carlo Sony CDX-GT34w 2 Alpine Type R 12"s in 4 cubes tuned to 35hz American Bass VFL 80.1 amp @ 1 ohm (probably doing between 1000 and 1300rms) Stock alt, Stock batt, Big 3 Upgrade Boston s55- 5 1/4s (doors) Boston s95- 6x9s (rear deck)
Skullz
Like i said it's been a while but if i recall it is better sounding and better control of the sub over the class d amps but i'm sure class d has come a long way and probably gotten much better. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Supercharged DCs
You have SQ confused with CnL I believe... Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
