toylocost
I know I've seen this done on the forum before but most of the time with a battery in between. Is this going to smoke my amp or charger? I have it playing on some home stereo speakers and it is suprisingly clean. At first I just wanted to test the amp and make sure it works cuz it was a yard sale find now it sounds good and I want to keep it there lol. I hooked up my voltmeter to it and it never goes below 12 on rock. Sits at 14.5 on low volume levels. If I put a hip hop track on with heavy bass it drops to 11.5-11.25 on bass notes. This is on the 2 amp charger. If I put it on the 10amp it goes to like 16.5v I can watch the charger pull when bass hits. Quote 99 4runner - So far: Alpine PDX4.100 & AQ1200D. Needz speekrz yo. Swaggasaur
It would probly mess up your charger. Superjay
"if you gotta ask"........ this...you already know the answer. you need a buffer between the charger and amp...even a small battery will suffice Quote Principal JTech Consulting - Leader in 12-Volt Training and Product PlanningIt's not about how much power you have, but how well you use it

Even if its not that good of a batt try it, if it can absorb a small charge you should be good to go. STEvil
add a battery, even a $50 junker from wally world Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
