Sadly until it goes intro protect and wont come out anymore because you pushed it to it's limits. That sadly happened to me on a old home reciever.. On 4 ohms.. Oh well. Live and Learn.

Just read through this thread. Nearly choked on my own tongue laughing so hard. The video was the best part.

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

ah, I remember the days of hooking subs up to home audio receivers or directly to head units...... oh wait, I never did that ever loooool. Friends did though, sounded like ass and never got loud XD

Epic fail thread, lol.

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

Getting hot and "blowing" subs

More like sending a über clipped signal and frying coils

I was gonna reply and say the same thing lmao, You guy's got to it before me! And typically your not suppose to run a home unit below 4 ohms unless it's made for that, most are made for 8. Unless you have a pro audio receiver that's different, and yours isnt. Like the guy's said, Keep blowing and clipping subs, see how long it keep's lasting before it finally die's before stupidity. And there not suppose to run hot to the touch, That right there is stupid alone. That's another sign for running it like an idiot. Oh well. Just know we warned you about running low impedences (sp?) and be warned and don't cry when we told you so.. 8)
