new guy Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 my home radio is stable at 1 ohm. that is all That must've cost a pretty penny. not at all found it in my parents junk room. its pretty beast though pushes out about 300 watts rms *current* 1991 honda crx si 2 skar audio 12s pioneer 6.5s dual 400 watt amp audio technix db 1/0 wiring kit. dual head unit

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. And typically your not suppose to run a home unit below 4 ohms unless it's made for that, most are made for 8. Unless you have a pro audio receiver that's different, and yours isnt. Like the guy's said, Keep blowing and clipping subs, see how long it keep's lasting before it finally die's before stupidity. And there not suppose to run hot to the touch, That right there is stupid alone. That's another sign for running it like an idiot. Oh well.
