IH8PunkRok
It has come to my attention that not only a few loud mouth's from other website forums are expressing doubts, but even a few people here that i used to respect are running around telling people that the DD-1 is junk compared to an O-scope. Here is yet another video to prove the DD-1's value to not just a back yard installer, but a professional who is about making money, saving time, and setting customers (or his own) system properly. over the years, how many people in your circle of friends have EVER set their gains properly? Think about it for a minute. Im not talking about the friends you see here on this forum that have used a scope. I am talking your every day friends. You probably know 10 or more people that own a car stereo, amp and woofer........but unless they are true pro's or are deeply involved in a forum where this is discussed, the answer is probably none. I have been into car audio for 25 years and even i dont know anyone in my circle of (normal) friends who even knows what a scope is. That being said, its years and years of "guessing" the gain setting. Now, some of the VERY FEW people, who actually use scopes, have expressed doubts. All i can do is keep trying to show you, this is REAL. It just keeps them going... who's bent out of shape? i just dont like hearing someone who i previously respected, flat out call it "junk". You can be loyal to your scope, or loyal to the foil.......for all care, but to call it junk behind my back (to people you dont think will tell me) is kind of a slap in the face. I expect that from sites that have major hate for me (for no reason), but not from people i thought i was friends with. Its not the first time someone i respected and had their back has done me wrong so i am used to it. Im not bent out of shape, i just want to bury their opinions in the dirt. EdgarG0721
Well besides setting gains to me the oscope is useless with that being said. For the price you can't beat it and it detects distortion wich is better then clipping I'm definately going to get one. I just have to save money to buy my amp first . Steve the haters are gonna hate their just jealous you seriouly did a great thing with this you and your team !!!!

monkeyleg
I pre-ordered one, so hopefully it's in the mail, but no worries, you guys worked hella hard and I can wait. One hypothetical question though....If I have a 5000 watt amp pushing a Sony Xplode, how do you keep the Xplode from....xploding?
