OK amps for around $300.00?

for only like $30 more you could get the Crescendo BC2000 and they are good quality amps

The hifonics amplifiers aren't too bad at all, i have ran Hifonics before i did Rockford and i cant say a bad word about them really!, here are 3 great ones within your price range: HFI2000D, BRZ1700.1D, Or you can throw in a little extra and get a BRZ2400.1D, they all do above the 1600rms you need and are well within your budget, if i where you i would go with the BRZ1700.1D as its just about what you need, within yourr budget and with this amplifier you might not even need to get another one in the future... Thanks for all the replies! I will definately look into the Hifonics stuff as well. I was looking at the Audiopipe 3k, but they are only 2ohm stable and my subs are dual 2's, so with 4 of them I can either do 4 ohm, 1 ohm, or 1/4 ohm. With my power upgrades the XT4000d would never drop below 13.9v. So it seems the Planet Audio Big Bang 2400.1 isn't that good? A little curious on that one because I noticed someone here has a new one for sale for $280 + shipping. Also, I went to Crescendo's site and couldn't find the bc2000.

With my power upgrades the XT4000d would never drop below 13.9v. So it seems the Planet Audio Big Bang 2400.1 isn't that good? my opinion audiopipe, my audiopipe 18001d is clamping 2600 @ 1.6 ohm 14.1v and for $200 new

Do you mean that it is 1ohm x 2 channel? With my subs if I did 2 channel I could wire it for 0.5ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohm per channel. Or am I missing something? For my setup it would seem that I would get the same power out of the Audiopipe 1500. Or are you suggesting I could run it at 1ohm mono?
