Or is there something else you guys use? under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?

If it was gonna be around heat or used to carry high pressure, then no, but my vote is yes, go for it. I think of it like this, if I spend that bit of cash on a material that I can use for quit a long time, why not. When I bought materials for my box I bought 2 tubes of caulk and wood glue, barely used any of it to build my box but I got enough to build many more!
