zx10intn
just thought i would share with yall what a local shop has going on. i follow them on youtube and seen this build they currently have going on, 4 dd9518s in a 6th order bandpass going into a chevy dually, each sub hacing its own ddm3. from what i can tell, 7 xs batteries and 3 mechman 400amp alts, looks sick. they normally update stuff until its done so hopefully we can see the finished product soon Edited September 4, 2011 by zx10intn Quote 1969 Chevy Chevelle 20/22" staggered Bonspeed Huntingtons wrapped in Nitto INVO's Mechman 250amp cs144 alt w/AVBM Kinetik 1800 main battery/Kinetik 2400 in the trunk Pioneer AVH-3200dvd Headunit (2) sets of Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine components up front (2) DD 3512's d4 coils Sundown sax100.4 component amp Sundown saz-3000d subwoofer amp 5ft^3 box tuned to 34hz MY BUILD

tonedeaf
I guess I don't really understand what a 6th order is... Its a 4th order...except instead of sealed compartments, each sub has its own ported 'enclosure' that ports into the port of the whole 6th order. Atleast thats my understanding. Although this thing looks WAY small with WAY too little port...or is it just me? I mean, thats a decent amount of power...but just looks tiny. Especially the individual ported sections... Although theres different versions. Like one where each 'wall' of subs on each side (like a wedge style like: / \) have one single port for all subs on that wall.
