My A pillars already have a set of tweeters in them.It came stock like that and I'm actually pretty impressed with them so they wont be coming out unless they stop working.Plus I kinda wanted to keep the Comp sets 6.5 and tweeters together. I'm planning on getting my stock alternator replace to match the other 2 before the season starts up here in Italy.Also working on painting the engine cover White also to match.That's why it's not installed in the pictures if anybody noticed. Real96SS Posted December 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 So had a couple friends come over and help put the box back in so I could cut the bottom wood for the amp/battery rack.Also while they were here had to put Brocc to work.Had him run the wires from the door while I put the extra back wall on the box for bracing.Once that was done it was time for me to start running some 1/0 to the rear and figuring out where I want to mount the fuse holders up front.Right now I only have 3 runs of positive and 1 of negative to the rear because I ran out.So have to order up some more from KnuKonceptz and a bunch of ring terminals.Am I the only one that finds out into the build that you need way more stuff than you initially planned?Anyways here's the pics Also connected one of the alternators just for shits and giggles to see what the charging voltage was This was just a draft run under the hood for wiring so it will all get cleaned up once I get everything In needed to finish up the wiring and alternators. Thanks and the box is waiting on some bedliner to cover it.I'm not the box expert so if I'm missing something let me know.I would have put some on the outer skin but I decided to wait to put more on until I got things up and running.I still haven't deadened the roof yet so that's on my to do list.I'm hoping to at least have sound coming out of this thing before the end of January.Reason so long is it takes 2 or more weeks to get stuff when I order it. Awesome work so far, and I love all the choices in equipment! The only suggestion I have is maybe a little more bracing in the box. And I'd brace the port too. Overkill is your friend! I've seen a basic box Luke that get ripped apart by two Fi Q's and no wear near the power you will have. Also didn't know you cheaped out on the wire. Don't take this as talking shit but why buy DC Power alts then cheap out on the wire which is what is going to get the power of those alts to your amps... I'm under the impression that KnuKonceptz makes good wire and that going from CCA to OFC is not really worth it but at the time I purchased the wire I picked what I thought was best for what I was doing.So unless someone proves me wrong that there's a major difference in the wire then I think I made a good choice.As for the box that's why I post pictures of everything so people can comment and give some advise.Nobody said anything so I just went with what I had at my disposal.Hey I guess if it gets ripped to shits then I get to start over with more knowledge.
