Damn that's a bummer that ur fresh new wheel is fucked. I hope u get it all resolved and hopefully you have a fast turnaround.

Thanks.

Rim doesn't look to bad to fix/replace if you were here.. however you're overseas, and thats a different ball game..

I don't think its as bad as I made it seem but because I have been waiting so long and the fact that they were brand new I think makes it worse in my mind.I was planning on trying to just bend it back in place by taking the tire off and heating it up and beating it with a rubber hammer. So after I file my claim I will decide but either way I have to order a new one.

So today was the day.I was finally able to pick up my truck today after getting all the customs stuff squared away.Upon further inspection I noticed that there were a couple scratches on the passenger side rear door and the rear rims was also bent but you can barely see it.Also they cracked my dash in two places which they are paying to fix everything so I'm not even mad.Anyways here's the pictures and the only thing I did today was wash her, put on the CAI and the chrome mirror covers. Also had to replace the turn signal in the back.I may go out tonight and install the Kenwood deck if I'm feeling froggy LoL

I can under stand the scraches and dends but how in the hell do they crack a dash? Did they take it out?

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Car is pretty clean inside and out.It already has a Kenwood deck in it(My favorite brand) and all Kenwood inside speakers.I will more than likely be turning this into a side project when I have time from working on the truck. What you guys think I should put in it?I only want to put one single sub that sounds good and doesn't need alot of power to get loud.

It looks like they either sat something heavy on it or pushed down on it too hard because its just hard plastic with no support really under it.It sucks because they have to replace the whole dash cause the body shop said they can't fix just the crack.

Yeah its okay man but the good thing is MY TRUCK IS FINALLY HERE!!!. After about 4 months of waiting and paperwork.I can start my build now as soon as I find some time to take some measurements so I will be able to figure out exactly what I want to tune my box too.

Damn man, they put that thing in a dingy and float it over there or what? I can't believe all the damage they caused. That's amazing! Well maybe it's not, but someone with no knowledge of how this stuff works (me) it seems very unacceptable to have that much damage. They gonna fix the wheels now too or is that on you? That sux! But like everyone else is saying, at least you have it now.

Yeah it's alot of damage for shipping a vehicle. It's rare that a vehicle gets here and have no damage though.Their fixing everything because it wasn't like that before it was shipped and I have the inspection sheet that their dude did and none of that stuff was on there.I'm just happy its here finally.

This particular Chevy truck platform (including Tahoes and Yukons) is absolutely notorious for dashes cracking in that exact place. You'd think they'd make it out of some semi-flexible material, or make it thicker, or support the dash somewhere, but noooo... could simply be changes in temperature/air pressure that caused it.

^ this, in my tahoe i have two crack. one is in the EXACT same place as you pictured. other is over by the airbag. theres a youtube vid where a guy went around a dealership and found a majority of the trucks all had cracks, in the EXACT same spots.

my parents just got a 2010 yukon, im waiting to see how long til theirs cracks
