Real96SS Posted December 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2011 Alright so the box is pretty much built just waiting on some bedliner to put on it and I have to paint the port.So I shoved it in the truck.Also completely removed the midgate so I could get a good picture of what I will have to seal.It's not much and I think some expanding foam should do the trick with some pretty cover panels.Also got the carpet and front seat back in.Wired up the headrest monitors,which gave me a small problem but it was my lack of knowledge(Thanks Ray). Now I'm stuck on the alternators or the belt should I say.I installed the 2 270xp DC Alts but now I can't get the routing of the belt correct.For some reason it looks like it's routed exactly the way it should but there is way too much slack left in the belt.Should be in the last couple pics. Real96SS Posted December 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2011 Well I know it was early in the states when I posted this but the problem now with the belt is that I figured out how it's suppose to be routed but the belt seems to be a little short.Even with the tensioner all the way to the right the belt still wont fit.I think I remember someone on this forum saying theirs was like that and they had to loosen some pulleys to get it to fit.Push come to shove I may need a longer belt.
