I like when people use filler for its actual purpose not cover the whole door with filler after fiberglass I wish I could take the credit for that but its all XtremeCarAudio here Italy.They do beautfiul work and dont charge an arm an leg for it.I know in the US it would have cost me probably over a grand at most shops. Box looks sick man! Makes me wanna get started on mine! Thanks and you should.Once you start though you wont stop. Ya that's part of the problem. I wont' want to stop but time won't allow me to keep going. But that's ok, as long as it gets built it's all good right! Yeah thats where I am now.Trying to get it done but time keep running low on me.I dont got much left to do to it but all the glassing and sanding can't happen until I get my cloth in. Also how much of a difference in bass does it make when you play with the seats up? Btw love the new box n doors!! if you come back to AZ id love to get a demo! Yeah they fold all the way down and these truck come like that with the midgate.I haven't tested it with the seats up but I saw a youtube video and a dude gained like 3 db's with seat down.Hopefully I get Arizona.Should find out this month for sure where im going next thats why i wanna get one and hopefully with this job im waiting on i can get a avy! that would be sick Tucson is pretty nice right now with the monsoon's but the humidity sucks lol! Yeah if I get Arizona I would be in Phoenix at Luke AFB. I was stationed there back from 03-07 and its where I bought my truck also. I can deal with the heat cause I love Arizona.Going to try and buy me a good size house out there with enough room for all my projects. I need to be 100% sure it looks good too, cause mine is getting a plexi top on it so you'll be able to see in it! May just spray mine in bed liner though. That'll help with any blemishes. Real96SS Posted July 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2012 More progress on the box.The second baffle I cut with my new Jasper Jig came out perfect.The first baffle was okay but not perfect.So I got it glued and screwed to the first baffle and then sat the subs in to mark where I needed to drill holes for the bolts to mount the subs. Once that once done pulled the subs out and made the holes.Now I'm waiting for the Epoxy to dry on the bolts. I need to learn 4th orders but they are intimidating Man I wish I knew someone that could glass.I want to learn but didn't want to learn on this truck.Maybe my next build I will try my luck at it.I'm not going to lie at first i almost called off the 4th order because it was so much that went into actually planning it out. With the help of a couple people as far as what ratio to use and port area I got it planned out.Then I triple checked all dimensions and measurements to make sure I wasn't missing anything or over or under measured.Now I could probably design one with no help but I love getting input from the people that have been doing it for awhile Nice work on the enclosure!
