meade916
for those that dont know, can you explain the difference between this alternator and the standard GM alternators? I have a 10yr old GM, so i admit, i dont even really know. What is "non pcm controlled"? I have a 10yr old GM, so i admit, i dont even really know. What is "non pcm controlled"? The 05-06+ GM trucks and SUV's have their regulation controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM). The late GM units use a different plug and the regulator operated by the PCM so we can't control it with our voltage module or external regulator. speedball1978
Since it will fit 2000 blazer 4.3, got a quick question I've noticed my alternator only has one wire, will it work with the new alternator that comes with the adjustable module? I've thought about doing a 14v set up running 14v batteries what would I. Need?
