They also have a different trans and gearing. Besides you can get gtp engine/ Trans combos from the junkyard for $500-1000 all day. just curious, in the grand prix platform world, why isnt the ls4 a popular swap? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. boom50cal Posted August 30, 2015 Report Share Posted August 30, 2015 hmm. that is a surprise lol. the few ls4 cars I've driven have always felt like a tugboat in the front end, just waayyy heavy feeling. always wanted to throw a 3.8 s/c in a fiero. working on buying some buckets to throw in the back seat of my truck, if I end up with them for a decent price, I'll throw a pic up here of the finished job. should look pretty nice.
