Only issue I could see possibly arising is, what if a SOTM winner doesn't have the same setup or is rebuilding. The vote would have to be for the setup that won SOTM, not the current(during SOTY voting) stuff. But i'm down for that, Cody and Jeff would kill me in votes though, both awesome builds.

easy fix to that...we pull all that years winners together and use the system they won with to go towards the SOTY

It could just be set up to vote for whatever set up won.
