JPagan Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 got pulled over for the first time by the infamous douche of a cop in my neighborhood, every highschool kid that drives know officer knox, he gave me a ticket for going 60 in a 45 zone, but the thing is that its a huge 3 lane, 4 mile stretch thats wide open with no houses or street or lights on it.......who in their right mind makes it a 45? it takes about 3 minutes to get down it at 45, i usually get though in a minute..........our school news even interviewed him...14 tickets a day, he never has empathy on anyone... you really complaining about getting tickets for breaking the law? LOLOL... i would ticket every sorry asshole for every law they broke... actually, i would be a even bigger dick and learn every single oldschool *early 1900s laws* that are still in effect for my area, and ticket assholes with your mentality, for those as well... Bacy2k Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 but to the other guy, first you say theres no houses or anything, now you have a house on that road? lol this thread has become so off topic, but to be on topic with the off topic subject matter: somebody said reevaluating the drivers test. well, this whole thing started because of a cop that cant drive. police get more drivers training than your everyday driver, but that doesnt change the fact that they can be dumb. honestly, itd make more sense for the DMV to administer an IQ test, reaction test and some sort of personality test. sure that'd be much more complicated, but i'd be pretty sure there would be far less accidents if people were smart enough to drive correctly and have the common sense not to dumb shit. its not difficult to drive. its pretty simple. i feel anybody with common sense, can drive, theyll just get better with experience. I personally, feel that i am a great driver. ive avoided other dumb people's mistakes that could have caused an accident. i do this atleast on a weekly basis. honestly, people are dumb enough, that ive done this 3 times within half a mile on the highway. but that doesnt change the fact that i'm human. i wont lie, ive had a few things happen, that could have resulted in something pretty bad, and it was something that was MY fault. everyone makes mistakes. you just have to be cautious and know what youre doing. the things that happened with me, were because i wasnt being cautious. never resulted in a wreck luckily. but even with caution, youre still not guaranteed to be accident free. if its snowing, and the roads are icy and youre goin 5 mph, you can still lose control of your vehicle. i guess the bottom line and determining factor is: the higher level of common sense and caution, the lower the accident rate. plain and simple. It was kinda cool how me and the other near-victim simultaneously avoided him and each other, though. The car was civilian, Gold Chevy Malibu, and the guy was dressed in civilians, but had the look of a plain-clothes officer or detective. I don't know, they'd probably find a way to turn it all around on me. lol. i thought the same thing, but only if they were to start harassing you (you said he might have written down your plates) but unless that starts to happen, i wouldnt mess with them lol. why bother? what can you possibly accomplish by going to them? now if you had a buddy who was a cop, or were acquaintances with one, i would bring it up to him but only in a friendly manner. lol, and yeah, that lego badge was pretty funny.
