rusty959
Look at the picture of the undercarriage, nothing is even attached to the drive shaft. Which just baffles me... x2 I was thinking the same thing. It probably is connected to something up closer to the engine... and not actually ran off the driveshaft. if somehow they connected it to the flywheel or something it would allow it to charge all the time. 2013 Subaru BRZ12" Orion HCCA on AQ 22001967 mustang restoration project: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110765-mustang-restoration-build-2011-edition/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/therusty959

snafu
Incredible workmanship and ingenuity there! This is what all SPL vehicles should look like. A vehicle like that can be appreciated by ANYONE - from 8 to 80. Just jaw dropping. Does anyone know any more about it? You can't connect it to the drive shaft for many reasons. Drive shaft isn't always spinning and when it does, it's at different speeds. bigmescan
If I had to put money on it. I would say he's disengaging the driveshaft from rear axle and still running the vehicle in drive to keep charging. But that's my opinion.
