My truck which is a 95 chevy has 220k on the stock motor, but got a new tranny about 70k ago. The only bad thing is there are certain parts like the tranny where you wont see anything wrong, then it will shit on you after a year. Hopefully that isnt the case but that price is alright, i personally would need to thoroughly look at it and see carfax. edit: i change my oil every 3k and my truck literally runs like brand new. even after 3k on the oil, it is still gold/copper color. extremeauto Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 if you do buy it get a trans flush and make sure they replace the trans filter as well ther is a GM additive that may need to go in as well when this is done to stop wear and friction. most vehicles require a trans flush every 65k another thing is if it has Dex-cool be sure to change that.when dex cool goes bad it likes to eat the gaskets out of the engine... Climb under neath and check for rusting frame etc any leaks from the rear bell housing that type of thing. definitely run a carfax. that price is decent but not too good to be true. N8 have to remember where we live. We live in so cal so rust really isn't an issue here. But still always a good idea though since you don't know where it's been. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks

Take it for a test drive and kind push it so its a big shift and make sure it shifts smooth. The tranny is usually the weak spot but since it is 2wd not 4wd that might change the wear and tear. But take it for a spin and see how it feels. G.L it looks like a sweet truck Yes watch that.. it eats through the water neck at the top of the intake... happens so much the nipple is in the HELP isle at the parts store. If it breaks off you have to clear the threads with a HUGE tap.. Thank goodness the full set was cheaper at grainger than just then needed single tap. Go the junk yard and grab yourself some extra dash AC/Heat controls.. trust me on 4th set since 04
