It just doesnt do enough for the cost. its not the be all end all SQ woofer. Its not even that loud. Its a 1000 watt woofer with fucked up coils so you either need to use the JL amps or not match your amps for optimal output. baaudio Posted February 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 14, 2012 Wow this is lacking some updates. So Sunday Feb 5th my team had a meet to meter and hang out. I've got this 18 running on an saz-3000d at 1 ohm. I metered a 146.1 at 48hz sealed up on the dash. I got about 3 burps in and then the coil ripped from the cone. Since I've ordered a recone from PSI designed to handle the power better. And in the meantime Im finishing up my box since this is most likely three setup ill be competing with. Started my coating the inside with resin. And cleaning up the outside with body filler.
