Rection Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 so i went out the other day and decided to treat myself to a new pistol. its a springfield range officer. this is about the most cost effective high performance 1911 ive found. this gun was built by springfield to be an affordable pistol to get the average consumer into competition level shooting. the parts springfield used in this gun are the parts that folks tend to add to their guns, and the basic mods a competition shooter would do. at 7 yards, its a 1 hole gun. at 25 yards off hand, i was shooting 2" groups. this gun out shoots any $2000 1911 ive fired.
