What is a good battery to purchase??

Recommended Posts

I currently have a walmart battery under the hood but it just isnt working out anymore. I have two 800watt 4channel amps and I recently added a JL 1000/1 for my subs. When I would crank it up on a song with a hard hitting low note the JL amp would kick off and the Low V light would come on for a few seconds. Now Im no expert but Im guessing that means Low Volts. So today I reset all my gains with my SMD DD-1 to see if that would fix anything and it is still doing that. People keep telling me to try a compacitor, new battery or Big 3. I was thinking about purchasing a new battery and trying to do the Big 3. What would be a good battery to buy to help with this problem? I would appreciate any help.

Kinetik and XS are the most popular among forum members.I say out of those 2 find the one that fits your car and your budget and purchase because honestly most on this forum will swear by XS and if they put in a Kinetik they wouldn't be able to tell the difference but for what your doing it's no noticeable difference between the 2.So purchase what fits your needs and you will be okay.

XS Power, Powermaster, Odyssey, Stinger, Deka, NorthStar, Shuriken, Kinetik

You'll be more than satisfied with any of those brands. Buy the biggest one that will fit in the stock location.
