LovellD
I know it's one of the front tires, but I can't tell which one. I can only hear the grinding at lower speeds, and sometimes even when I'm not braking. No idea what it could be, but it seems to have started just recently. I think I first noticed it after I slid on some ice and the anti-lock kicked in. Could my pads be shot? 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Click to see my build log! CHEVY4X4BLAZER
Pull the wheels off and take a look. If its been awhile then that is most likely the case.
Torres
i had some serious, serious grinding on my wheels a while back. the pads were completely shot, which in turn ate up my rotors. from the sound of it, sounds like they may be starting to eat into it. pop your wheel off and check out the pads and rotors
CHEVY4X4BLAZER
I've seen an entire side of the rotor ground off. What was left of the break pad shaved the rotor down.
HatersGonnaHate
Check your rotors and pads and also look for any clean rubbing marks on your shock/strut housing up front, indicating that the struts are bad and tire is rubbing the housing. Keith77
You most likely went metal to metal on your brakes. Rotor is gonna be shot too. Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle. ChevyBoy95
i had some serious, serious grinding on my wheels a while back. the pads were completely shot, which in turn ate up my rotors. from the sound of it, sounds like they may be starting to eat into it. pop your wheel off and check out the pads and rotors x2, i have had this happen too, it also warped the rotor so i had to get a new one.
