What I want it is a 80's 1/2 ton chevy truck 4x4. Nothing grand, 350 small block, maybe some dana 60's,6 to 8 inches of lift, nice transfer case, 35 to 37 inch tires. Just some stuff that works. Then beat the hell out of it, repair and repeat. Sad part is, I have been thinking about it for 15 years. Yes, it was my dream back in the day to have each and every car i have owned (at the time). Old '74 Celica (with an 18-RG and dual side draft Makuni *sp carbs), honda on some 13's, another honda and another honda but one on some sick ass 17's..........then oh man, i wanted a Tahoe so bad!!! i got one eventually. None of them were Lamborghini status but i was still proud to own them because those are the cars i wanted. Of course i WANTED even better but these cars are the ones that were somewhat reasonable to think i could own someday (at the time). The only cars i have owned that were NOT dream cars were my old 89 Ford Escort, and my 3 Ford pickups (still have one). The Escort was temporary and the pickups were necessity (for work and such). right now, i am driving my current "dream car" lol! (i was playing with some settings on photobucket so forgive me haha) do i wish it was a LFA? nahhh. That car is sick as fuck, but i am not a millionaire so i like to keep my dream cars within reason. haha. I was within months of this before my wife and got pregnant with our little one. now that payment goes towards daycare and I call her daddy's little beamer when moms not around. Im far too young to have been around for them but they were stunning looking cars.. and its pretty cool that your happy with the ISF, tbh its easy to drop the cash and buy an LFA and have an awesome looking car(well not the cash bit ) its built to look good, the ISF is too but you`ve made it unique, that thing rolls with authority now I think its nice to have a out of your reach dream car, but having a car you`ve built yourself into your dream car is much better... I dont have dream cars.
