I have seen someone else go through this and it was not good. From what I have read the life expectancy after diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer is like 2-4 months untreated and up to 8 months treated. I just pray my mom stays strong through this and the pain is managed so she is comfortable. Knowing that you only have 4-8 months what do you do. Knowing that taking kemo / radiation may slow it down but that in it self will tear you up. I hope she can beat it too but from what I have read it is not curable only treatable.
