OBI
Hey whats up Ray was wondering if you could help me out with finding my f3 for 2 designs I've come up with after talking to you and a few other people. Subs are 4 xl 15's first design is a 4th order with 7.5 cubes sealed with 13 ported tuned to 40hz with about 13 inches of port per cube. Second is flat ported wall, 15 cubes tuned to 27hz with about 12inches per cube of port. Tried looking all over this forum and internet looking for formulas and anything I find give me some funky high numbers. Joe X
There's no T/S parameters listed for the DC Audio XL.. I guess I wouldn't worry about that on any well designed 4th though.

Well at least the actual f3 that he would be getting. Edited February 2, 2012 by Joe X

They do give an enclosure suggestion (Vb) AND.. you can always measure the t/s!!
OrionStang
I got a woofer tester from PE. Its pretty easy to use and inexpensive. Only 80-90 bucks IIRC. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
