Sergeant_Skyrim
Toucandan8989 had a single Rockford T1 12 on a prime1000d amp and was hitting 139.x at 37 Hz I believe. So possible, yes. He's just going to have to spend more to get more. Build in progress
Robert8252
I had a 12" XL on a 3.5k and only did a 42. Before that had the XL on 2k. Different box. Only did a 40.x. But did high 30s at the mid to high 20hz range. Trunks suck. If he doesn't want to spend money then tell him to find a new cheaper hobby like stamp collecting. I'm sure ray can give some info but if you aren't him or a AI employee that can do 40s from the trunk on a tweeter it probably won't happen. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

Robert8252
I know. Just like fuggin with you. But I'm sure you could get a 40 with a 6" I'm the crx for a few seconds before it launched the cone. Forgot what we were talking about... Lol. Oh. Also op. I recently had two 10" alpine type Es. A $45 sub on 500watts. Had about 2.5cubes net. 11inches of port per cube. Tuned to 34 and it wasn't crazy loud or nothing but for someone who doesn't want to spend money it could make them happy. Subs and port rear facing towards the trunk. Box needs to be within a foot of the rear of the trunk. That kind of goes for any trunk setup facing the rear though. Always seems to be louder with the box farther back. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

alaskanzx5
well, like everyone is saying to do a 140 isnt hard but to do a 140 in a trunk that doesnt have fold down seats with a single 12 is a whole other story. that will take some fine tunning and most likely more then one box build to find the best design.maybe if he was to take out the rear deck speaker and do port up sub up with the port(s) aimed towards the hole(s) for those speakers then maybe that might help, just maybe. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
