Just a few questions for those that have or know about cc-1's

Recommended Posts

Ok iv just recently sold my tpi440 and I think I'm gna purchase the combo pack of the cc-1 and the dd-1 but I have a few questions...

Ok with the cc-1 I seen the accuracy video where he shows the gain matching amps so I can set all the cross overs exactly the same and then set 1 amps gain with the dd-1 and then use the cc-1 to ensure that the output voltages are the same on all 4 amps am I thinking about tht correctly???

And also for the cc-1 can I use it to set my super tweeter cross overs on the amps (mine go up to 12.5khz) I need or prefer 3500-4000hz?? Is there a track for this or will it work with any 3.5khz tone track?

And lastly is there any voltage/output maximum on these such as a do not exceed this voltage? bc I'd be using them to set 4- DC 9Ks independently...

Sorry if this info is posted else where i read over most of the topics and didn't see a clear deff answer to my exact questions

Thanks for your time :drinks:

And yes your thinking about it right.

It will work perfect for you.

There is a 3.55k track and a 4k track. The complete list can be found at the website, in the manual. I just got my cc-1 today and it is an awesome tool. Set up my 2-ways active crossed at 3.55k, and the subsonic of my mids and subs at 56hz and 28hz respectively. All in about ten minutes.

Nice!!! Thanks guys and what do you suggest ray I will be pushing the super tweets fairly hard so I figured 3.5k or 4khz is where they'd want to be?

cross the nendos at 5khz, the nendo pa 6.5s play up to 8khz so they will have no issue being crossed near 3.5-4khz

150v limit although i remember reading that that went up to 300v with a new component.

if the frequency you want isn't listed on the cd included you can still have someone make a tone for you, say 3672hz, and it will work the same.

Decaf - if you plan on using a DD-1 with over 10,000wrms, i can make sure your's has the upgrade so you wont have any problems if you accidently go over 15,000 (peak). Email me when you plan on placing an order so i can double check yours is upgraded.

thanks!
