Quiet Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 i think for your demos you should just have the driver's door open, let 'em feel a few more Db's I don't want to hurt em too bad lol, but this weekend a few veterans are getting full tilt what the black nasty can dish out!!!! I could tell during my demo you were afraid of another sub letting go somehow, you couldn't keep your eyes off of 'em. Got a nice hair trick vid during the demo too. I was amazed at how little the truck flexes for how loud it is. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Found out it is my head unit, I blew all the ground traces for the RCAs and wire wrapped it as a quick fix well I guess that is coming loose and was feeding noise to the woofers making them hop around. Good way to unload a sub so I was watching them as I went full tilt and depending on the song I was playing. Just more basshead problems lol. It almost looked like it was moving more than the surround would allow in the video. Perhaps something like a taller surround might help? Good stuff AMI! I think that all the time and effort you put into this build really paid off. Daniel Brill-Edwards Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 I don't want to be a stick in the mud but every part of this build is so well thought out and spot on except the choice of subs. It seems they can't take the lows at these kind of pressures. From what i've seen they seem to prefer the 40hz+ range. Something like SP4s would be ideal. Thats just my opinion as many of the principles you've used in this build are how I would do the same and if it was me then i'd go for SP4s.
