OrionStang
Maybe i'll head over to the CHP station here and see if they will test my db's. It was a city cop that stopped me, so maybe they'll write it off. sprkn_ranger
Yea you never know, they might just write it off, I went to a chp station before for a fix it ticket and the officer didn't even come out to look at my truck. AUDIOADDICT02
he shoulda let you go just for that response! Edit: If it's written as modified exhaust then it's most likely a fix it ticket. If its a bolt on system and you still have your stock muffler then just do that long enough to get it written off then pay the $10 fix it ticket then switch it back. CHP signs off tickets for free.. That's weird, probally just a picky cop, i went to get my ticket signed off once & I have straight pipe with cherry bomb glasspack & they didn't say anything about it. It was a bike cop, so that whole "quota" thing is probably part of it. I'll see whats up when I get the slip in the mail. Worst ones out there in most cases, they'll try to f*** you for any little reason, as stated before, get it metered to make sure & see if you can fight it if anything.. SR20DAZE
I got one about two years back. It was a fix it ticket too What i did was contacted my local state referee office to make a appointment to test it on the mic. As long as you are under 95 db you are good. They pd considered mine still "modified" cause its a can instead of stock muffler. I used the excuse that mine was rusted out and had holes * wich it did* i doubt your will look modified, cause your car only shows the very tips of the pipes on the bumper Worth a try with the ref, it was free for me but idk the charge for them. You will get a sticker that goes on your ticket and another printed paper as proof of your db readings. I keep mine in my glove box Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy.
