Loslam
I'd try sub forward/port up, sub up/port up, or sub forward/port forward. Depends on the truck though, what kind? 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, 350 Vortec Things to come at some point... ChevyBoy95
if it isnt a wall, dont fire the port forward if you are just doing a daily system. ive tried about 10 different boxes with varying port/sub directions and they always sounded better (no idea about metering) to ear. Banshee421
I'd try sub forward/port up, sub up/port up, or sub forward/port forward. Depends on the truck though, what kind? 2008 tacoma no wall just like the deep rumble bass and it will never be metered just a daily.

Smurfboy
I have two subs and ports facing up. It sounds good in my opinion (many of my friends digged it.)

Akslowroller
I too have tried many different variations in my extended cab. I have figured out if your doing a box below the window that port and subs firing up worked best for me and my application. For metering and sound purposes I am rebuilding and doing a wall for my two 15's. Go big!!
